Life is a never-ending journey

Many are those who praise Stockholm as being the most beautiful capital of the northern countries, even of the world and we tend to agree... almost. Of course, we are being subjective here, but we also like to keep a certain balance in our description.   We set off from Copenhagen with a low-cost flight and landed at one of the 3 airports that serve the city of Stockholm, evidently the smallest and the farthest one. Needless to say that the transport system is flawless and  surgically precise so we got in the city relatively fast.      We developed a certain routine when it comes to visiting large cities and a kind of space orientation so that a simple map is enough to find our way. We found our hostel, checked in, left our baggage and took-off again. Iesim din iarna indelungata si istovitoare cu forte proaspete, animati de dorinta de a spulbera orizontul intunecat de norii ultimelor luni si de a reveni pe fagasul normal. Asteptarea a fost mult prea apasatoare si probabil sentimentul este impartasit nu doar de noi.  Se spune ca popoarele nordice, odata cu venirea primaverii, renunta pentru cateva ore pe zi la orice activitati pentru a se bucura de caldura si atingerea delicata a razelor de soare. Este foarte adevarat si, avand de acum experienta a 3 ierni petrecute pe aceste meleaguri, empatizam cu ei si mai presus de orice, ii intelegem. Vederea Soarelui pe cer are un efect psihologic puternic revitalizant ce inlatura apatia si moleseala indusa de lipsa de lumina. Ei bine, ziua de 8 martie a fost prima zi adevarata de primavara si, spunand asta cu tarie, i-am dus dorul. A fost imposibil sa ramanem in casa, asa ca ne-am deplasat catre Malmo, oras pe care l-am mai vizitat o data acum doi ani, tot in Martie insa pe ploaie...
